Sun light & shadows

The sun makes a huge impact on how stone appears! Dark tones appear stronger at dusk, and brighten up in the middle of the day. When taking photos of stone that you would like us to match, take multiple angles at different parts of the day so we can be sure to get the most accurate color!

This photo is the same exact stone on the same exact house. The top photo was taken in the shade, the bottom was taken in direct sunlight.

The photos below are a bit more peculiar! Taken on the same camera, moments apart. The sun was setting and the angle is very slightly off center. This is one of the best examples we can show that depicts the importance timing, lighting and angles. The more options we have to look at, the closer we can match any stone you desire!
