The stone has been laid. The mantel has been put in. The firebox is ready to be turned on. The only thing left to do is place the hearth! Here are some examples of what the fireplace should look like before the hearth is placed.

This fireplace is ready for a hearth! Well...almost! 

The hearth area is flat, and the bottom row of stone has been removed.

We suggest that the floor be protected, otherwise this fireplace is ready!

The hearth area of this fireplace is a flat surface. The floor below the hearth is protected. 

A small error that should be noted is that the bottom row of stone just above the hearth should be removed to allow the hearth to be flush.

Also note that...
-The mantel is covered.
-Loose stones will be taken off top of hearth before install.
